Jackson is 9 Months Old!!

I can't believe this is happening. He is growing sooo fast and changing so much. I already feel like he's not a baby anymore. He looks like such a little boy. It has been so fun to watch Bryan see Jackson hit all his milestones. He is amazed by child development and thinks it is cool to see him learn new things. Life couldn't be better right now and I am loving the time I get to spend at home with him! Jackson is trying to talk daddy into letting him be a big brother sooner rather than later. ;0)

Jackson, at 9 months you are:

  • weighing in at 19 pounds and 14 ounces. That's the 39th percentile.

  • 29 inches tall and in the 50th percentile.

  • still sporting a big head. Your head is 18 inches and in the 90th percentile.

  • CRAWLING!!! You crawled for the first time at Mommy's Weight Watcher's meeting on Monday, April 4th! You looked like you had know what to do all along. We were trying to be quiet while other people were talking but we were just so excited!

  • talking all the time. Your new favorite consonant is G. You say "gagagaga" all the time.

  • all done with swimming lessons. We are going to take a break and just play in the pools this summer.

  • still taking music class. You don't like to sit by Mommy anymore though. You crawl to other people so you can play with their drum because, even though they are all the same, you thing the other drums are more appealing.

  • full of teeth. You have four bottom teeth, two on the top left and the two top right teeth are almost in as well.

  • sleeping from 6:30 at night until about 5 in the morning. You wake up and make small grunting noises until I come in and give you a bottle. Then you go back to sleep until around 7.

  • not a good napper. Other mommies talk about how their babies sleep for a couple hours in the afternoons. You do not like to sleep. You still fight naps and try to wake up after 20 or 30 minutes. Your doctor said you just need to learn that you have to stay in your crib for a nap even if you don't want to.

  • ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!

Mommy and Daddy love you!
